the staff at check-in was friendly. my classic double room was adequate. the facilities in the bathroom included a bath and a power shower. i found two sets of towels, a hairdryer, and a fan in the room. it had everything i needed.
the heating controls proved inconvenient. i had to select a heating duration from a panel behind the curtains. the options were 2, 6, or 8 hours before it switched off. this occurred in the middle of the night, resulting in a cold room.

the hotel has a conference room for meetings. luggage storage is available free of charge . coffee and biscuits were provided in the room, that was nice.

The room was clean and it had good condition. I found extra tea bags readily available at reception, a simple, thoughtful touch. The hotel's location allowed for easy access to nearby attractions.
The window could not be opened fully, but this was a very minor issue.

The hotel is only a short walk from Picadilly station and close to Canal Street. It made getting around convenient. Many bars and restaurants are in the immediate area too.

I found I could grab extra tea bags and coffee bits for my room at reception! The hotel's garden bar provided a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The bar prices were reasonable.

convenient locationearly morning noise
The location proved convenient, being near transportation.
My room faced what was to be a loading area. I heard considerable noise early each morning, seemingly from deliveries or maintenance, and it was disruptive. SLEEP proved difficult because of this.
